YARN PRODUCTS
Qualified & Durable
Webbing is woven from a variety of different types of yarns. The yarn is chosen based on the application of the webbing and is either a natural or synthetic fibre.
High-quality and eco-friendly yarns
In-house yarn production
Polyunion can produce Polypropylene (PP), PYI, nylon and polyester yarns with a highly competent team to control the quality of the yarns
Recycled / low impact yarns
Polyunion has the capacity to produce recycled yarns (recycled PP yarn, recycled polyester yarn, recycled nylon yarn), and we are certified by Global Recycle Standard (GRS)
Customised post-processing treatment
Polyunion can proceed with post-treat yarns according to the application of the product, including air textured yarn (ATY), twisting, and winding.
Specialised development team
Polyunion has a dedicated yarn and webbing development team to answer any technical questions you may have about yarns and provide you with the appropriate solution.
Selecting the most suitable yarn for your product
Natural fibre yarn takes the form of cotton, while standard synthetic fibres include polyester, nylon and polypropylene.
Exotic synthetic fibres would include such fibres as:
- Kevlar ® – used in adventure gear and bullet-proofing;
- Nomex ® – flame resistant;
- Dyneema ® and Spectra ® – ultra-durable, strong and chemical resistant.
COLOR
In order to reduce the environmental impact, the yarns are color-matched not by traditional dyeing processes, but by color-blending the masterbatch to obtain the required color.
Application
Selection of yarn materials for different functions depending on the application of the products
Cost
From cost-efficient PP to the most technically advanced UHMWPE materials, the company can offer you the best yarn offer to realize your products together.
Our recycled certificated yarn products
Polypropylene
Polypropylene (PP) is typically used for outdoor applications. The webbing fabricated with this yarn includes two special PP yarn materials, PYI (Polyunion’s patented yarn) and APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer).
Nylon
Nylon is a high-strength and soft-touch elastic material that is used for countless applications: from pet collars to harnesses, and to military uses.
Polyester
Polyester has a wide range of uses and is widely used in clothing and bag to realize its aesthetic and practical functionality. Because of its flame retardancy, it also plays an irreplaceable role in the manufacture of industrial products.
